National Convention at JMU

October 26, 2016

James Madison University has been chosen as the next location for National Convention. Founded in April 1994 the Gamma Sigma chapter of PBr has grown into a current standing of 36 active brothers plus over 100 alumni. Our members come from all different majors including but not limited to Health Science, Business, and Music.

JMU is located in the heart of the Virginia Shenandoah Valley in a small town called Harrisonburg. The city has a lot to offer as it has a great downtown experience as well as offering outdoor experiences in the nearby National Forests. Downtown Harrisonburg has multiple bars, restaurants, and stores. The nearby mountains have a lot of different vantage points that offer great views of the surrounding valley as well.

The university itself is very near the Downtown Harrisonburg area and has many great spots to throw a frisbee or just chill out. The Quad is normally where we all go to hang out as brothers in between classes or on the weekends. It’s basically an open field that has a great view of the central JMU building, Wilson Hall.
