In 2009 Alpha Zeta brother, Adam Anderson, Director of Bands at the University of West Alabama (UWA), started the project of bringing a Phi Boota roota chapter to UWA. In 2011, Adam Greene, Dylan Gardner, and Kea Sawaska took on the project as well, and in 2014 introduced the Beta Nu chapter to the University of West Alabama.
